Shipping & Delivery Policy – Taotao-ta Threads
At Taotao-ta Threads, we offer two types of products with different shipping processes:
- Merchandise (shirts, mugs, accessories) is fulfilled through Print-on-Demand (POD).
- Books (paperbacks and signed editions) are shipped directly by the author.
Please review the relevant section below based on your purchase:
1. POD Apparel & Accessories
Production Time:
All merch items are custom-made after your order is placed.
- Estimated Production Time: 5–10 business days
- Times may vary slightly during peak seasons (e.g., holidays)
Shipping Time (after production):
- United States: 3–7 business days
- International: 7–21 business days
Shipping Costs:
Calculated at checkout based on destination and item type.
Tracking:
Once shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number (when available). Tracking may take up to 24–48 hours to update.
2. Paperback Books & Signed Editions
Fulfillment Time:
Paperback and signed books are packaged and shipped by the author. Please allow:
- 3–5 business days for handling and preparation (longer if personalized)

Shipping Costs:
Included in the price of each book variant. You’ll select your preferred shipping speed when ordering.
International Orders for Books:
Please contact us before ordering if you wish to ship books outside the U.S.
3. Lost or Delayed Orders
We are not responsible for delays or lost items due to:
- Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
- Delays caused by shipping carriers or customs
- Severe weather or other events beyond our control

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
Customers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or local taxes on international merchandise orders. These are not included in the product or shipping prices.
5. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. We are not responsible for items shipped to incorrect addresses.
